By doing your part for the environment, you could be awarded up to $2,500 and be featured in a statewide TV commercial!
Champions of the Environment is a yearly competition that awards eight kindergarten through twelfth grade environmental projects with grants worth up to $2,500! Runners up receive smaller awards to help get their project started. Projects must address one or more of the following:
- Prevention or reduction of pollution in the air, water, or land
- Waste reduction
- Restoration, preservation, or enhancement of natural areas
- Water or energy efficiency
- Projects must also educate the community and make a lasting difference to the environment
The application period is now OPEN! Submit your online application by October 15th.
